![]() We were offered a very narrow 2 person high top in the bar area (with two other larger high tops available). Not really sure why a later reservation takes priority over a 6:30 PM reservation. We were told all those tables were reserved for later reservations. We told her we would not accept that table and asked for a table in the dining room. ![]() She attempted to seat us in the very back of the plastic tent directly under a heater that was blasting down on the table. The hostess walked us through the restaurant, passing several empty tables, out the side door to a plastic sided add on along the side of the building. Had a reservation and arrived a few minutes early. One of the worst fine dining experiences we have ever had. The splurge we shared at the end was out of this world delicious and decadent - peanut butter ice cream sandwiched between dark chocolate chunk and fromage Blanc cookies and sprinkled with what tasted like Butterfinger crumbs.I rarely write a negative review but I felt I needed to this time. My husband had the Bourbon Braised Korubuta Pork Short Rib which was fall off the bone tender, and I had the Jidori Chicken Schnitzel with Maitake Mushrooms, Herbed Spaetzle and rainbow chard sauerkraut which was very tasty (leftovers made a delicious lunch the next day). So many things sounded good on the menu, so took us a while to decide on our entrees. We started with their oysters on the half shell baked with blue crab and cheese - flavor bombs, so delicious. I had them add vodka to their featured mocktail, which was a mixture of lychee, lime, cucumber and fresh herbs - yummy! The food item menu is very creative as well. ![]() First off, they have very creative handcrafted cocktail list and a good choice of wines and beer. ![]() Beautiful warm and inviting interior with log beams lining the roof. The manager Xavier, came round to our table introduced himself,and welcomed us warmly when he heard it was our first time there. ![]() My husband and I went to Olea for the first time Saturday night, and we will definitely be back! The staff were well trained and we loved our server, Shara, she was very helpful with menu choices, friendly and professional. ![]()
